I have said several times now that I have a deep, newfound respect for single parents everywhere b/c this whole baby-rearing thing is A LOT of work. (People tell you but you obviously can't fully relate until you experience it.) So anyway, Mateo was away this past weekend for a wedding in California (where he got two full nights of sleep in a row - argh!) so my mom booked a last-minute flight to come see Carolina and me and help out for the weekend. Mom was AMAZING. We had a wonderful weekend together and I was so grateful for all the help with housekeeping, soothing, and diaper-changing.
