CC 2nd Birthday Party

CC turns 2 on Thursday so today we celebrated with neighborhood friends at Holly Park, a playground in the 'hood. Good times! Petrea was in town for the weekend visiting Julia, and she provided some of these lovely photos. CC hasn't fully grasped that it's her birthday and she got overwhelmed when we sang "happy birthday".
Her spirits lifted when presented with her choice of mini-cupcake with sprinkles.
It got even better when she ate another. She licked the icing and sprinkles off of no fewer than 5 cupcakes. (the discarded cakes went to PapaJ)
