Lake of the Ozarks, pics edited with commentary

I realize that looking through 150+ unedited pics is not that interesting so here is an abbreviated pictorial story of the weekend. First, a little background. My dad's family has a tradition of gathering annually in different parts of the country. Originally, they were informal get-togethers and they've since turned into more organized affairs. This year our hosts were the Wetteraus, originally from Missouri but now living in California. They were very gracious to open up their lake house to the extended family.

CC's first swim in a lake. Lake of the Ozarks is much warmer than Lake Stevens!
Here's the whole crew (in our matching t-shirts).

The Ralston gals. Very fun to be together.

us with our girl - she got A LOT of attention over the course of the weekend

Clark, in front of Mark's cigarette boat. They took it for a spin and went 103 mph. Mateo and Clark majorly accessed their inner dude.

Clark showing off his wakeboarding skills, putting the rest of us skiiers to shame.

Dad's cousin Ginny, this year's hostess for the mostest. Former Miss Missouri. Mom to three. I want to take a pill and look like her.

Aunt Judy and Mimi, two of three remaining from the older generation.

Aunt Judy is as kind and warm as she looks.

Uncle Warren, Mimi's brother and Judy's kind-of husband, telling stories. Every year at the reunion we have "share night" where everyone gets up and tells everyone what they've been up to for the past year.
